Our Belief and Who We Are
Our Belief: In the beginning, there was GOD and nothing but GOD, the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. All GOD all the time.
Then GOD began to create all things, from within. And, Everything is of GOD, everything is in GOD, and everything by GOD. In GOD we have life, and in GOD we have our being, and without GOD there is no you, and there is no me.
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from GOD? …1 Corinthians 6:19 (NIV)
For we are the temples of the living GOD. As GOD has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their GOD, and they will be my people.” 2 Corinthians 6:16 (NIV)
The above scriptures express the rudiments of our beliefs; that is, the omnipresence of GOD is in man. Each of our bodies is a living Temple of GOD, who is Spirit and must be worshiped in Spirit and Truth.
Our Belief: That all people are the Temples of the Living God.
Our Belief: Regardless of our respective religions, our spiritual traditions, rituals, and activities, such as prayers and meditations, are all designed to bring us into the light of truth. This is true in each of the “Abrahamic Religions” (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) as well as the Eastern Religions, Buddhism, Vodum, Hinduism, Taoism, Ifaism, Confucianism, and others.
Our Belief: It doesn’t matter whether we congregate in Churches, Mosques, Synagogues, Shrines, Sanctuaries, Temples, or Grand Halls; we are all seeking the Light of Truth.
Our Belief: GOD is in all forms of life, known and unknown, on earth and in the universe.
Our Belief: GOD is expressed in us, through us, and by us in thoughts, words, and deeds.
Our Belief: No human being can ever be alone, lost, condemned, or judged. Each of us is a child of GOD.
Our Belief: True salvation is the advent of remembering that our divine heritage is unconditional and is available to all of the human race.
Our Belief: Embracing, internalizing, and applying these truths in all of our daily living is the guide to the enlightened path into states of consciousness, known by many names: the GOD Mind, Universal or Christ-consciousness, Nirvana Samadhi, and so many others.
The ascension to this realm of consciousness is what we seek for all human beings, for therein lies our talents, our unrealized potentiality, our transcendent nature.
Our Belief: That all Human Beings have the power to create on earth, as it is in heaven, the life and environment we want for ourselves.
At Ejiwapo Ministry, our doors are open to every soul seeking to welcome the Universal God Consciousness into their hearts. We foster a community where we teach individuals to show their love for God and for one another through worship and community service.
Members of our church are those who build relationships with our family through community groups, volunteer activities, worship services, or learning. We welcome all individuals seeking God’s love.
We teach the doctrines of love and service to others in prayer and meditation. We invite you to open up your hearts and allow God’s grace to penetrate your soul and being.
